Ruben Martinez Martinez, of San Antonio, was sentenced to 135 months in federal prison for smuggling more than 10 kgs of fentanyl and nearly 35 kgs of methamphetamine into the United States from Mexico

A Mexican national was sentenced for drug conspiracy and attempted possession of methamphetamine, announced U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson.

TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Lorenzo Heatrice, 70, was found guilty by a federal jury of conspiring to possess with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine and two counts of distribution and possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, one involving five grams of methamphetamine and the other involving 50 grams.

OXFORD, MS – Timothy Terrell Robinson, 31, was sentenced today to over 17 years in prison for conspiring to distribute more than fifty grams of methamphetamine.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Gabriel Alexis Perez-Espinoza, 29, a Mexican national, and convicted felon living in the United States illegally, was sentenced today to 70 months’ imprisonment followed by three years’ supervised release after he was attempting to traffic a large amount of methamphetamine and heroin into the District of Utah. 

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Heath Lloyd Taylor, age 46, of LeFlore County, Oklahoma, was sentenced to life in prison for Drug Conspiracy.

Taylor’s co-defendants were sentenced at hearings held between October 16, 2024, and April 25, 2025.  Seven members of the drug trafficking organization were sentenced for Drug Conspiracy.  Five additional members of the drug trafficking organization were sentenced for Possession with Intent to Distribute Controlled Substances.
