TALLAHASSEE, FLORIDA – Willie Frank Hicks, Jr., 42, of Madison, Florida, pleaded guilty in federal court to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. 

A Nacogdoches man has been sentenced to federal prison for a firearms violation in the Eastern District of Texas, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Jay R. Combs.

STATESBORO, Ga. — David Dwayne Cassady, 57, an inmate incarcerated in the Georgia Department of Corrections, has been sentenced to 80 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to two counts of attempted malicious use of explosive materials.

Fort Myers, Florida – U.S. District Judge Sheri Polster Chappell has sentenced Michael Lee Stover (37, North Fort Myers) to eight years in federal prison for possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. The court also ordered Stover to forfeit the firearm and ammunition possessed during the offense. Stover pled guilty on June 12, 2025.

United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Jay Clayton, announced that ANDRIS PUKKE, a/k/a “Marc Romeo,” a/k/a “Andy Storm,” was sentenced yesterday to eight years in prison by U.S. District Judge J. Paul Oetken for leading a years-long real estate scam in Belize called “Sanctuary Belize,” in which hundreds of victims—many of whom were retirees—were defrauded of approximately $77 million.  

Ocala, Florida – United States Attorney Gregory W. Kehoe announces that Edwin Tollinchi-Rodriguez (40, Indiana) has pleaded guilty to one count of possession with the intent to distribute 50 grams or more of methamphetamine.  Tollinchi-Rodriguez faces a minimum term of 10 years, up to life, in federal prison. A sentencing date has not yet been set.

Fort Myers, Florida – U.S. District Judge Sheri Polster Chappell has sentenced Christopher George Montgomery (30, Port Saint Lucie) to four years and nine months in federal prison for possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon. The court also ordered Montgomery to forfeit the firearm and ammunition possessed during the offense. Montgomery pleaded guilty on June 17, 2025.
