On November 27, ICITAP concluded the first of two back-to-back Human Rights and Democratic Policing Train-the-Trainer Courses in Nepal. This first course was taught at the Nepal Police West Regional Police Training Center in the city of Butwal. A total of 24 Nepal Police officers, including three female officers, graduated from the 15-day course. The Chief of the No. 5 State Police Office, ICITAP-Nepal’s Program Manager, and other senior police officials attended the graduation ceremony. The ceremony highlighted the official handover of training equipment, which included five laptops, five generators, five projectors with screens, and five UPSes to the Police Training Center for training purposes.
