Nepal: ICITAP Expands Human Rights and Community Policing Principles

On December 14, ICITAP concluded the second of two back-to-back Human Rights and Democratic Policing Train-the-Trainer Courses. A total of 25 Nepalese law enforcement officers including six female officers graduated from the 15-day course. The ICITAP-Nepal Attaché and senior Nepalese police officials attended the December 14th graduation ceremony, which included the donation of related police training equipment. The courses were delivered with the support of and in coordination with the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
