Attorney General Sessions Delivers Remarks at the FBI Graduation Ceremony

Location

Quantico, VA
United States

Remarks as prepared for delivery

Thank you, Chris, for that introduction, and thank you so much for your leadership.

The American people appreciate what you do.  The American people have always supported law enforcement.

I have the honor to introduce someone who supports our law enforcement officers- just as he promised- 100 percent.

Donald Trump ran for office as a law-and-order candidate.  I believe that is one of the biggest reason why he won.  The American people spoke loud and clear that they want to restore the rule of law and they want to be safe.

Now he is governing as a law-and-order president.  He is fulfilling his campaign promises and he is delivering results for the American people.

The day I was sworn in as Attorney General, he ordered this Department to reduce crime in America.

We embrace that goal and we are pursuing it aggressively.  And we are doing that with the indispensable help of our state and local law enforcement partnerships like those, by the outstanding graduates, represented here today.

Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome our nation’s highest law enforcement officer: the President of the United States.
