On Tuesday, February 23, 2016, the Department of Justice held their annual African American History Month Observance Program in the Great Hall of the Robert F. Kennedy Building.  Attorney General Loretta E. Lynch delivered welcome remarks followed by a special keynote from Cornell William Brooks, President and CEO of the NAACP.  In 2014, Mr. Brooks became the 18th person to serve as chief executive of the NAACP, the nation’s oldest and largest grassroots-based civil rights organization
