The Department observed Women's History Month with an event featuring a discussion between Deputy Attorney General Lisa O. Monaco and Associate Attorney General Vanita Gupta, moderated by the Office on Violence Against Women's Principal Deputy Director Allison Randall.

In addition to celebrating the contributions made by women throughout the Department's history, the discussion also highlighted the Department's ongoing efforts to improve the lives and well-being of women across the nation, including work to advance the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act.
