Chasing the Dragon is a 45-minute film, whose title refers to the unattainable pursuit of the original or ultimate high, features stark first-person accounts told by individuals who have abused opioids or whose children have abused opioids with tragic consequences.  The video is meant to serve as a conversation starter in classrooms, homes, community centers, and churches across the country. The stories contained in this film are tragic and real. Some of the individuals from the film will be in attendance. Awareness of the problem is the first step towards solving it. This film is designed to wake people up to the realities of prescription opioids and heroin and the brain disease that is addiction.
