Johnny Queen

Overview

On August 8, 1965, in Fayette, Mississippi, XXXXXXXXX shot and killed Johnny Queen, a 65 year-old African-American man, in what XXXXXX has consistently claimed was an act of self-defense.  XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Natchez, Mississippi, was XXXXXXX for nearby Adams County at the time of the shooting.  The only two surviving eyewitnesses, the XXXXXXXX both have stated that the subject’s actions were in self-defense.  As described in detail below, there is no existing evidence to refute this claim.
