Overview

On May 8, 1966, Alabama State Trooper, the white subject, fatally shot Nathan Johnson, Jr., the 34-year-old African-American victim, who was being detained at the police station in Alabaster, Alabama following his arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol. The subject and victim struggled. The subject then drew his revolver and fired two shots at the victim.
