Sea Mar Community Health Centers and Subsidiaries

On April 7, 2025, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Western District of Washington entered into a settlement agreement under Title III of the ADA with Sea Mar Community Health Centers and Subsidiaries, which operates 28 dental clinics in the Western District of Washington.  The agreement addressed allegations related to  reasonable modifications for patients with disabilities.  Under the terms of the agreement, Sea Mar will take steps to provide equal access to care to patients with disabilities at dental clinics, including patients who require assistance to transfer to or from an exam chair or other medical equipment.
