TRUCE Community Picnic

On April 25th, 2026, the East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office and TRUCE hosted a picnic at BREC Howell Park in Baton Rouge.

TRUCE is a violence prevention initiative in Baton Rouge that partners with the DA’s office to engage the community and provide alternatives to gang and group violence. The picnic is held annually during National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.  Participating agencies, including the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Louisiana, shared information with the community about resources available to crime victims and resources to prevent crime.
