LLEGS Nationally Recognized for Outstanding County/Parish Constable Partnership

Louisiana Law Enforcement for Gun Safety was recently awarded the National Constable & Marshals Association’s 2015 Award for Outstanding County/Parish Constable Partnership for its sustained statewide collaboration with local, state and federal agencies.  Sgt. Brian Firmin of the Baton Rouge City Constable’s Office received the award on behalf of LLEGS.

The Program has strengthened the relationships between local, state and federal law enforcement, and the many diverse communities and religious leaders, parents, and children involved in the Program.
