Welcome to the webpage for the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Mississippi. Our office is one of 93 United States Attorney's Offices within the 50 states and four territories.

The U.S. Attorney's Office (USAO) is responsible for representing the federal government in virtually all litigation for this district. Our office prosecutes violations of federal criminal law, including crimes related to child exploitation, narcotics trafficking, firearms, racketeering, terrorism and public corruption. We represent the United States in civil lawsuits by and against the government, and actions to collect judgments and restitution on behalf of victims and taxpayers.
