The U.S. Attorney's Office, Northern District of Ohio is involved in a number of programs and projects in our community. Some of our major efforts are listed below.

Community Outreach The U.S. Attorney’s office takes every available opportunity to communicate with residents in order to hear their concerns and priorities in the Northern District of Ohio.
Defending Children The United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Ohio is committed to the safety and well-being of every child and has placed a high priority on combating sexual exploitation of minors.
Project Safe Neighborhoods A nationwide initiative that brings together federal, state, and local law enforcement officials, prosecutors, and community leaders to identify the most pressing violent crime problems in a community and develop comprehensive solutions to address them.
Human and Civil Rights Ensuring that all people are treated fairly and enjoy equal protection under the law is a top priority in the U.S. Attorney’s Office.
Law Enforcement Initiatives As the senior federal law enforcement official in the district, the U.S. Attorney’s job is to help coordinate a comprehensive law enforcement and crime prevention strategy for Northern Ohio.
Northeast Ohio Business Ethics Coalition Beginning in late 2010, the U.S. Attorney's Office brought together some of Greater Cleveland’s most trusted institutions to form a unique partnership aimed at working with the business community to prevent the occurrence of questionable business practices.
Victim Witness Assistance Victims of crime may experience feelings of confusion, frustration, fear and anger. The Victim/Witness Unit is dedicated to making sure that victims of federal crimes and their family members are treated with compassion, fairness and respect.
Community Action Plan: Heroin The U.S. Attorney’s office presents a Community Action Plan to find a solution to the region's heroin epidemic based on the input from the represntatives of several agencies and organizations throughout the Northern District of Ohio.
