Albania: First Group of Albanian National Bureau of Investigation and Special Anti-corruption Structure Completes Study Tour

On August 19, a ceremony was held to commemorate completion of the first group’s week at the FBI Academy. Sixteen individuals from the Albanian National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and the Special Anti-corruption Structure (SPAK) completed the study tour. The event was hosted by an FBI Special Agent with congratulatory remarks given by the FBI International Operations Division Assistant Director, who also gave each participant a certificate. The week prior, this delegation spent the week in Washington, D.C. meeting with individuals at ICITAP HQ, the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), FBI, the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA), and many other law enforcement agencies.
