Indonesia: ICITAP Analytical Development Team Facilitates Training for Directorate General of Immigration

From December 13 to 17, the ICITAP Analytical Development (ADP) Team facilitated Basic Analyst's Notebook training for the Directorate General Immigration.  Fifteen students from the Intelligence Unit, the International Cooperation Unit, the Traffic Unit, the Surveillance and Enforcement Unit, and the Information and Technology Unit participated in the training. The training was opened by the Director of Immigration Intelligence and the ICITAP Law Enforcement Assistance Attaché. This training is the first ICITAP collaboration with the Directorate General of Immigration.  In his opening speech, the director emphasizes the importance of data analysis and mapping so that immigration can quickly predict and prevent crime. This training is expected to improve the ability of immigration staff to analyze data.
