Kosovo: ICITAP Observes World Day Against Trafficking in Persons

On July 30, ICITAP-Kosovo, in close partnership with the Kosovo Police (KP), the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MoIA), the Office for Protection and Victim Assistance (OPVA)/State Prosecution, the ICITAP-established Community Safety Action Teams, Neighborhood Watchers; Local Public Safety Committee members marked the World Day Against Trafficking in Persons (TIP). This one-day event brought together around 30 representatives of above-mentioned institutions and voluntary forums, to discuss ways to prevent, and also respond to cases of trafficking. At the conclusion, KP and the OPVA handed out brochures TIP informative cards.
