Kosovo: ICITAP Recognized for Support of Police Inspectorate of Kosovo

On July 3, ICITAP attended the ceremony to mark the 13th anniversary of the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo (PIK) in Pristina, Kosovo. The Prime Minister of Kosovo provided the keynote address for the celebration. The Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs, the Kosovo Police General Director, the Police Inspectorate Chief Executive Officer, and the Ambassador to OSCE, and other honored guests attended the special occasion. Several distinguished guests provided remarks and received acknowledgment of appreciation with medals and certificates including ICITAP-Kosovo’s Attaché. The PIK CEO expressed gratitude to the US Embassy, and specifically to ICITAP, “We are supported by partner, the role of whom has been evident on fulfilling the mission. I thank our permanent supporter ICITAP with whom a level of cooperation and support has been raised, considering that our success cannot be seen separate from their role and commitment to providing a safer environment. I am here to express gratitude and respect for your support.” The Prime Minister also praised the work and support of the USG, as well as the work of PIK, “We are in an institution that makes us proud of continues successes, and allow me on behalf of the Government of Kosovo to congratulate the anniversary to the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo. Congratulations on work and success – I wish successes in the future.”
