Pakistan: ICITAP Completes Advanced First Aid Course with National Highway & Motorway Police

On February 28, ICITAP concluded the Advanced First Aid Course at the National Highway & Motorway Police (NHMP) Training Facility in Kot Ranjit. The course graduated 23 participants, including six female officers. Each graduate received a first aid kit to assist them in properly managing medical responses. Modules for this course included: Triage/Emergency Scene Management, Bleeding Control, Fractures, Chemical Burns, CPR, Transport, and Poisoning Countermeasures. In Pakistan, ICITAP delivered this training with the support of and in coordination with the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
