On February 21, ICITAP’s Train-The-Trainer course successfully concluded with the graduation of 15 members of the Panamanian National Police (PNP) by ICITAP’s three-person training team. Part of the PNP instructors will be utilized to deliver field instruction in the area of Community Policing and the rest will used to train future mentors in the Field Training Officer (FTO) program. ICITAP looks forward to assisting the PNP in the further development of their instructor corps with the next two-week class projected to begin in March 2020. In Panama, ICITAP delivers assistance and training with the support of and in coordination with the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
