Serbia: ICITAP Delivers First Responder Computer and Mobile Forensics Investigation Training

On November 29, ICITAP-Serbia completed the first of two one-week First Responder Computer and Mobile Forensics Investigation Courses in Vrnjačka Banja. In total, 17 participants graduated from this course and acquired skills in identifying, documenting, recovering and preserving digital evidence using several free software programs. The participants were taught the latest on emerging cyber-crime trends including child exploitation, financial crimes, border security, digital forensics, cross border crimes, and covert internet investigations. Each unit, to include the Unit for Suppression of Cyber-Crime, the Service for Combating Organized Crime, the Service for Special Investigative Measures, and the National Forensic Center, was provided free software. This training was delivered with the support of the U.S. European Command (EUCOM).
