441. Reporting Requirements

The Act at 12 U.S.C. § 3421 establishes various reporting requirements including a report to be prepared by the Administrative Office of United States Courts detailing the number and outcome of government applications for delay of customer notice and of customer challenge suits. In addition, government agencies obtaining records through administrative or judicial process, search warrant, formal written request, or intelligence or emergency access provisions must report on such activities to the appropriate Congressional Committees. Such reports must include the number of requests under each applicable provision and any other relevant information. For the Department of Justice, the Office of Management and Finance will compile and coordinate data submitted by departmental units.
