Jamila Frone
Jamila Frone has served as the Director of OARM since September 2014. In this capacity, Ms. Frone provides management and program oversight of legal recruitment and outreach, suitability and background investigations, FBI Whistleblower cases, attorney disciplinary matters, and policy issues. Prior to her appointment, she served as OARM’s Deputy Director of Legal Recruitment and Outreach. Ms. Frone’s career at the United States Department of Justice also includes four years as an Assistant General Counsel for the Executive Office for United States Attorneys General Counsel’s Office. In that role, she provided legal advice and counsel to the 94 United States Attorneys’ Offices (USAOs) and represented the USAOs in administrative litigation before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Merit Systems Protection Board. Her work has been recognized by the Department with an Attorney General’s Award for Equal Employment Opportunity given for her service in advancing diversity and inclusion.
Prior to serving in the United States Department of Justice, Ms. Frone was an Attorney-Advisor with the United States Office of Special Counsel and the Federal Election Commission. Ms. Frone received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctor from the George Washington University Law School.
