On September 4, 2024 Attorney General Merrick B. Garland hosted a meeting of the Justice Department’s Election Threats Task Force. Attorney General Garland, Deputy Attorney General Lisa Monaco, FBI Director Christopher Wray, Assistant Attorney General Matthew G. Olsen of the Justice Department’s National Security Division, and Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Nicole M. Argentieri, head of the Justice Department’s Criminal Division delivered remarks.
