The Department of Justice is drafting an Environmental Justice Strategic Plan that will specify DOJ's vision, goals, priority actions, and metrics to advance environmental justice, as directed by Executive Order 14096, "Revitalizing Our Nation's Commitment to Environmental Justice for All."

DOJ is seeking your input on several questions to improve its Environmental Justice Strategic Plan. You may provide input on DOJ’s Environmental Justice Strategic Plan in four ways:

  1. Email the Office of Environmental Justice (OEJ) at: OEJ@USDOJ.gov.
  2. Complete the electronic survey located on the OEJ website.
  3. Attend a virtual community listening session.
  4. Attend an in-person community listening session if there is one scheduled near you.

Draft goals and objectives for DOJ's Environmental Justice Strategic Plan are posted on the OEJ website. All comments are due by the extended deadline, Monday, July 22, 2024.
