Panel discussion moderated by Gerri Ratliff, Acting Director of the Justice Department’s Community Relations Service.  The panel of experts includes David Dinielli, Visiting Clinical Lecturer in Law and Senior Policy Fellow with the Tobin Center for Economic Policy at Yale Law School; Seema Gajwani, Chief of the Restorative Justice Program at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia; and Sumayyah Waheed, Senior Policy Counsel at Muslim Advocates. The panelists discuss alternatives to prosecution, including community engagement and education, strategic litigation, restorative justice, and more.
