On August 8, ICITAP’s Attaché to Central America and his team met with Panama’s Anti-Gang Chief Prosecutor and the sub-commissioner to discuss the advanced training program on anti-gang and organized crime and addressing the case through a team approach with prosecution, forensic, and investigative personnel. A further meeting with the leadership from the three disciplines will be hosted by ICITAP-Central America to discuss the elements of the training components. In Central America, ICITAP provides training and assistance to forensic and investigative personnel with the support of and in coordination with the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (State/INL).
