On April 23, a total of 20 Patrol Police officers completed the Mentor Training Officers Program hosted by the ICTAP-Ukraine mission and delivered by ICITAP-Ukraine’s Mission Advisor and Training Advisor. Initially, the course was to be instructed by ICITAP TDY instructors; however, the TDY instructors had to cancel last minute due to COVID. Nevertheless, the training needed to continue since many of the Ukrainian police officers traveled long distances to attend. The training course was two weeks long and the participants did an outstanding job in their practical exercises and class participation. In Ukraine, ICITAP works with the support of and in coordination with the State Department’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL).
