Eufaula Resident Pleads Guilty To Bank Fraud

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Dakota Deen Beebe, age 37, of Eufaula, Oklahoma, entered a guilty plea to an Information of one count of Bank Fraud, punishable by up to 30 years in prison and a $1,000,000 fine.
The Felony Information alleged that beginning in or about May 2022 and continuing until on or about October 20, 2022, Beebe knowingly executed a scheme and artifice to obtain moneys, funds, credits, asset, securities, or other property owned by, or under custody or control of Farmers State Bank, a federally insured financial institution, by means of false and fraudulent pretenses, representations, and promises.
The charge arose from an investigation by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Texas & Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association (TSCRA).
The Honorable D. Edward Snow, Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report.
A U.S. District Court Judge will determine the sentence to be imposed after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.
Beebe was released on bond pending sentencing.
