United States v Hecker et al

The public is reminded that an indictment contains only charges and is not evidence of guilt. The defendants are presumed innocent and are entitled to a fair trial at which the government has the burden of proving guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

Scheduled Court Hearings

June 15, 2018 at 2:30 pm:  A hearing on the motion to continue trial and the motion to declare the case complex will be held in Anchorage Courtroom 3

July 18, 2018 at 10:30 am:  A Change of Plea Hearing will be held in Anchorage Courtroom 3 for Richard Hoglin

August 16, 2018:  Bail review hearing held for Amber Hecker.  Ms. Hecker was released to a treatment facility with a condition of GPS monitoring pending disposition in this case.

August 23, 2018:  Bail review hearing held for Richard Hoglin.  Mr. Hoglin was released to a treatment facility with a condition of GPS monitoring pending disposition in this case.

September 20, 2018 at 2:30 pm:  A Status Conference will be held in Anchorage Courtroom 3

December 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm:  A Final Pre-trial Conference will be held for Amber & Ronald Hecker in Anchorage Courtroom 3

December 17, 2018 at 9:00 am:  The Trial by Jury will begin for Amber & Ronald Hecker in Anchorage Courtroom 3 (if a plea agreement is reached this will be vacated)

January 2, 2019 at 9:30 am:  An Imposition of Sentence hearing will be held in Anchorage Courtroom 3 for Richard Hoglin
