Henryetta Resident Sentenced For Methamphetamine Distribution

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced Damon Lee West, age 45, of Henryetta, Oklahoma, was sentenced to 21 months in prison for one count of distributing methamphetamine.

The charge arose from an investigation by the Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics, the Okemah Police Department, and the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

On July 23, 2024, West pleaded guilty to the charge.  According to investigators, on September 20, 2023, West knowingly and intentionally distributed approximately 28 grams of a mixture and substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance.

The Honorable Ronald A. White, Chief U.S. District Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, presided over the hearing.  West will remain in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service pending transportation to a designated United States Bureau of Prisons facility to serve a non-paroleable sentence of incarceration.
