Muskogee Resident Pleads Guilty To Federal Firearm Charges

MUSKOGEE, OKLAHOMA – The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma announced that Scott Alan Bahe, age 42, of Muskogee, Oklahoma, entered a guilty plea to one count of Felon in Possession of Firearm and Ammunition, and one count of Felon in Possession of Ammunition.  Both charges are punishable by up to 15 years imprisonment and a maximum $250,000.00 fine.

The Indictment charged Bahe with knowingly possessing one 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol and 10 rounds of 9mm Luger-caliber ammunition on December 23, 2023, after having been previously convicted of a crime punishable by more than one year imprisonment.  The Indictment also charged Bahe with knowingly possessing an additional 39 rounds of assorted 9mm Luger caliber ammunition that same day, after having been previously convicted of a crime punishable by more than one year imprisonment.

The charges arose from an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Muskogee Police Department.

The Honorable Jason A. Robertson, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report.

A U.S. District Court Judge will determine the sentence to be imposed after considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

Bahe will remain in the custody of the United States Marshals Service pending sentencing.
