Federal Drug Prosecutions, Awareness, and Prevention

Assistant U.S. Attorney Dana Hill, USAO Community Outreach Specialist Khalilah Escalera, and Captain Mason from the Florida Army National Guard visited the PACE Center for Girls of Central Florida in Orange County. Forty-two students and staff listened intently as the team delivered a dynamic presentation on the devastating effects to communities caused by fentanyl and other dangerous drugs. In addition, AUSA Hill discussed the USAO’s priority to prosecute those who illegally distribute drugs and the consequences of participating in these activities. Students were also led in a group discussion on how to prevent the proliferation and use of illegal drugs.
