National Night Out 2025

More than 500 community members came out to participate in the Annual National Night Out celebration at the Dream Center in Lakeland, Florida. 

Since 1984, this nationwide event has taken place in neighborhoods across the United States to promote safety and encourage police-community partnerships. 

Activities included fun, games, and community resources provided by several local organizations. USAO Community Outreach Coordinator Khalilah Escalera joined officers from the Lakeland Police Department to provide information on dangerous drugs, online safety, scams, human trafficking, and gun & gang violence prevention. Many of the kids also signed the National Pledge Against Gun Violence.
