Online Safety At East Pasco Education Academy

U.S. Attorney Gregory Kehoe, Assistant U.S. Attorney Courtney Derry, and USAO Community Outreach Specialist Khalilah Escalera visited the East Pasco Education Academy in Dade City to speak with more than 50 middle and high school students about Online Safety and ways to be safer online. The presentation covered safeguarding personal information, unsafe behaviors on the internet,  cyberbullying, how to report online victimization, and legal consequences of inappropriate online activities. U.S. Attorney Kehoe emphasized the Department's commitment to work with law enforcement and community partners to protect minors and other vulnerable populations from criminal activity.
