Oviedo Soldiers Press Conference in Orlando
Acting U.S. Attorney W. Stephen Muldrow joined Orange County Sheriff Jerry Demings, MBI Director Ron Stucker, FBI Assistant Special Agent in Charge Ronald Hopper, and Group Supervisor Chad Holth from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations to discuss the joint investigation of a drug trafficking organization known as the Oviedo Soldiers. In addition to selling heroin and other illegal drugs, this organization has been a source of several violent crimes in the area.
During the press conference, Acting U.S. Attorney Muldrow praised the efforts of the investigators and prosecutors handling the case. He added, “the fight continues and we will continue to work with our state, local, and federal partners to combat violent and drug crimes."
Acting U.S. Attorney Muldrow also reiterated the Office’s commitment to combat the heroin/opioid problem in the MDFL.
