2025 School Resource Officer Training

AUSA Courtney Derry joined FBI Special Agents at the St. Petersburg College of Public Safety during a training for new Tampa Bay area school resource officers (SROs). AUSA Derry delivered presentations on Current Trends in Human Trafficking and Online Safety, along with information about Current Trends in Cyber Crime from the FBI. These presentations were part of a weeklong training course intended to prepare SROs for their new roles. Sixteen SROs were in attendance from across the Middle District of Florida.
