Space Coast Human Trafficking Symposium

U.S. Attorney Gregory Kehoe delivered opening remarks and participated as a panelist during the 2025 Human Trafficking Symposium – Fight for Child Online Safety, hosted by U.S. Congressman Mike Haridopolos, in partnership with the Space Coast Human Trafficking Task Force.

More than 200 attendees, comprised of law enforcement, government entities and NGOs, educators, victim advocates, social service providers, and others, registered for this years’ event at Eastern Florida State College in Cocoa, Florida.

Assistant U.S. Attorney Megan Testerman and Community Outreach Coordinator Khalilah Escalera presented essential information on federal prosecution, online safety, and collaborative partnerships during the law enforcement breakout session. Other sessions explored the roles and practices of health care professionals and other industries in identifying, preventing, and combating human trafficking and child exploitation.
