St. Petersburg College Discovery Day

St. Petersburg College (Clearwater) hosted “Discovery Day” - an annual event devoted to professional development for the institution’s faculty and staff from all campuses. Each year, professionals and subject matter experts conduct workshops to share their ideas and knowledge on improving student success and developing a strong community and workforce. This year’s emphasis was on “Creating a Community of Care.” As part of the day-long event, USAO Public Affairs Officer William Daniels presented workshops on civil rights, diversity, and bias-motivated crimes. At least 70 faculty and staff members participated.
