United Against Hate Presentation at Bethune-Cookman University
On Tuesday, March 11, 2024, the USAO-MDFL, in partnership with the Bethune-Cookman Center for Law and Social Justice at Bethune-Cookman University, the Volusia County NAACP, and the Volusia County African American Leadership Council presented the United Against Hate program to students, faculty, and community members. U.S. Attorney Roger Handberg was in attendance as Assistant U.S. Attorneys Tiffany Cummins Nick, Amanda Daniels, and Noah Dorman presented to nearly 50 participants on how to identify, report, and prevent hate crimes and discrimination.
