USAO Joins Students to Combat Hate & Extremism
The U.S. Attorney’s Office Civil Rights Working Group Co-chair William Daniels participated in an interfaith panel discussion organized by students of a World Religions class at Seminole State College (Sanford Campus). Panelists shared their varied perspectives and experiences on issues of hate and extremism, its roots, and the dangers it poses to society. Students also shared reports on their semester-long projects to break commonly held stereotypes and promote the understanding of diverse views.
