Operation Cease Fire Federal Defendants

Lavond Tony Austin (32, Live Oak) is charged with selling a firearm to a convicted felon.

Nathaniel Curtis Ferguson (45, Port St. Lucie) is charged with possessing a firearm as convicted felon (Armed Career Criminal).

Kevin Brown (37, Daytona Beach) is charged with possessing a firearm after being convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence.

Nathan Kelly (24, Ormond Beach) is charged with distributing and possessing with intent to distribute carisoprodol (a Schedule IV controlled substance), and carrying a firearm during that drug trafficking crime

The following individuals are each charged with possessing a firearm as a convicted felon:

Maximum Penalties

Possessing a firearm as a convicted felon - 10 years in federal prison.

Possessing a firearm as convicted felon (Armed Career Criminal) – Mandatory minimum 15 years, up to life, in federal prison.

Possessing a firearm after being convicted of a misdemeanor crime of domestic violence - 10 years in federal prison.

Selling a firearm to a convicted felon - 10 years in federal prison.

Distributing and possessing with intent to distribute carisoprodol, a Schedule IV controlled substance - 5 years in federal prison.

Carrying a firearm during a drug trafficking crime – Mandatory minimum 5 years, up to life, in federal prison.
