Community Outreach

Community Outreach is a fundamental part of our comprehensive approach to fighting crime, enhancing public safety, and improving the quality of life in the Northern District.

Law Enforcement Coordination Program

The Law Enforcement Coordinating Committee sponsors and co-sponsors training seminars for federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.

Victim Witness Assistance

Victims of crime may experience feelings of confusion, frustration, fear and anger. The U.S. Attorney’s Office and the Victim/Witness Unit is dedicated to making sure that victims of federal crimes and their family members are treated with compassion, fairness and respect.

Indian Country

The U.S. Attorney's Office recognizes a significant need for effective communication between the various components 
of the Department of Justice and the Indian tribes. The U.S. Attorney's Office regards its responsibility to the tribes as a 
significant priority.

Franklin Covey Reentry Program

Most offenders sentenced to imprisonment are eventually released and reenter communities somewhere. The U.S. Attorney's Office participates in the United States Probation Office’s Franklin Covey Reentry Program to help integrate reentering offenders into the community as law abiding and productive citizens, resulting in reduced crime and safer communities.
