SALT LAKE CITY, Utah –A foreign national, living in the United States illegally, was charged by felony information after he allegedly broke into the Park City Gun Club, stole firearms, and fled from police in a vehicle before crashing at a park and taken into custody.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Carlos Arturo Aparicio Hernandez, aka Raiza Daniela Yasira Aparicio Hernandez, 40, of Taylorsville, Utah, was sentenced to 360 months’ imprisonment after he pretended to be a minor female and communicated with a child victim on Facebook. The defendant convinced the victim to send sexually explicit photos and then extorted additional sexually explicit images and videos from the victim.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah – Cruz Javier Garcia, 39, of Bland, Virginia, was sentenced today to 246 months’ imprisonment and a five-year term of supervised release for trafficking 40 pounds of methamphetamine and cocaine while in the District of Utah.

Gabriel Omar Gigena, 42, of Valley Springs, California, was also sentenced to three years of supervised release.
