FIRREA also allows for civil actions by the Attorney General for violations of the mail or wire fraud statutes affecting a financial institution. Pub.L. In addition, FIRREA permits the disclosure of grand jury information to other government attorneys for use in enforcing the civil penalty and the civil forfeiture provisions of FIRREA. Pub.L.
