The Justice Department's Civil Rights Division announced civil investigation into the Fulton County Jail that will examine the living conditions, medical and mental health care, use of excessive force, and protection from violence, as well as whether the Jail and the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office discriminate against persons with psychiatric disabilities.
