Hispanic Heritage Event – Santa Ana Branch

On October 3, 2019, after welcoming remarks from USA Hanna, the Honorable Frederick Aguirre (ret.) profiled and moderated a panel discussion with three Mexican-American WWII veterans, including two fighter pilots, to commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month. The guests of honor were Lt. Col. Henry Cervantes, 1st Lt. Edward Lopez, 1st Lt. Roberto Ruiz, and Joe O’Campo, U.S. Navy. A reception with light refreshments followed the presentation.
