Hispanic Heritage Month Celebration

To commemorate Hispanic Heritage Month, on October 1, 2019, the Office hosted a discussion featuring California Supreme Court Justice (Ret.) Carlos Moreno and UCLA Professor and historian Eric Avila discussing the story of Los Angeles’s Chavez Ravine (now home to Dodger Stadium). It proved to be an interesting talk about an important moment in L.A., Latina/o, California legal, and even Dodger history.
