Former Acting U.S. Attorney

 

On January 1, 2021, First Assistant U.S. Attorney Jonathan Ross was appointed as the Acting U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Arkansas.  Mr. Ross previously served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the Eastern District of Texas immediately before coming to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Arkansas.  In addition to serving in the Eastern District of Texas, Mr. Ross was a federal prosecutor in the Western District of Arkansas from 2012 to 2016. Prior to becoming a federal prosecutor, FAUSA Ross was a deputy prosecuting attorney in Pulaski County from 2003 to 2012.

Mr. Ross succeeds Cody Hiland, who had served as U.S. Attorney from October 2017 through December 31, 2020.
